PNY Riot O1 Gaming Mouse Unboxing & Review – Tech Tuesday

Getting a gaming mouse needn’t be a horrendously expensive venture. But tech can be a broad market where you get what you pay for at times. Thus, it’s good to know where to look. It helps hardware dons are starting to take care of the cheaper end of the spectrum. We’ve seen it with devices such as MadCatz TE range, for example. Now PNY have come out with their Riot O1 gaming mouse. It’s an entry level device that won’t wow anyone with its specifications, but it will do the job nicely.

It’s comfy and durable, with sturdy build quality and some nice concessions to non-slip long plays, even if the thumb area feels a bit tacky. The top-end 4000 dpi won’t knock anyone’s socks off, but it’s a serviceable mouse. More impressive is the braided cable, the robust scroll wheel, and the disco lighting that allows for 16 million colour variations.
